What video game console can I buy with a couple hundred dollars?

March 8, 2009 · Filed Under Video Online Games

Matt asked:

I have about 200.00$ to spend on a video game system. I was wondering if anyone had an opinion on what I should buy?

Im guessing the latest and greatest consoles are far out of my price range, but I have no idea what the best bargain is for previous stuff…

By the way, I love Guitar Hero, sports games, pretty much anything with a challenge, and the pov spy/assassin stuff, etc, etc.

    trade gold

Nintendo Wii is only $250.00 and works great (if you don’t mind less shooter games.)

With $200 dollars you can get a brand new playstation 2 for about $120. Then you can get guitar hero controller and the game. You get all that without breaking the bank. Not to mention the huge selection of games. If you were willing to spend a little more I would have suggested an xbox 360. Good luck
