Would you consider it to be the first largely successful arcade game that being Space Invaders (only to be dethroned by likes of Pac-Man and Donkey Kong), when Atari entered the home video game console market, when Nintendo helped revive a doomed market, the next gen console wars between Sony, Microsoft, Nintendo and Sega, online gaming, the fully interactive video game system like the Wii, gaming on home PCs? What is your take?

The most important milestone has to be when Nintendo put a seal of quality on thier games, so there’d be no more horrific games along the lines of Et.
